Associate Professor, Department of Medicine
In my role as the point-of-care ultrasound (POCUS) director for Internal Medicine at NYU Langone, I am dedicated to advancing the integration of POCUS across clinical environments at all levels of education and training. My research portfolio centers on evaluating educational outcomes related to POCUS, with a strong focus on curriculum design and implementation across a diverse range of learners. This includes medical students, residents, faculty, and advanced practice providers within a large academic setting.
My work involves developing innovative teaching methodologies and assessment tools to ensure that learners at all levels can effectively incorporate POCUS into their clinical practice. By fostering a robust educational framework, I aim to enhance diagnostic accuracy and improve patient care through the proficient use of ultrasound technology. My commitment to this field is driven by the belief that comprehensive POCUS education is essential for the next generation of healthcare providers.
