Inpatient Services – Tisch Hospital
This 22 bed inpatient unit serves an adult population from the young adult to the geriatric. The minimum age for admission is 18 years old and all patients must be voluntary. The academic service combines comprehensive diagnostic assessment and treatment including psychopharmacology, neuropsychology, psychotherapies, and electroconvulsive therapy (ECT). A multidisciplinary team approach provides a continuum of behavioral and therapeutic modalities including art therapy, recreational therapy, and occupational therapy as well as a group program which includes Dialectical Behavioral Therapy. The service is closely coordinated with outpatient NYU Behavioral Health Program and other providers to offer a range of integrative services.
