Today, we’re redefining medical education through full-tuition and debt-free scholarships for all MD students and flexible pathways that allow students to complete medical school in three years or choose a fourth year for research or a dual degree.     Full-Tuition Scholarships

    We’re the first top-ranked medical school in the nation to offer full-tuition scholarships to all MD students. We also provide financial aid to help cover costs beyond tuition. Today, our graduates incur among the lowest average medical education debt levels of any medical school in the country.

    Three-Year MD Program

    Complete medical school in three years through an accelerated curriculum that integrates preclinical and clinical training, with clerkships beginning in the second year. Students graduate a year early and may apply to residency programs nationwide.

    Pathway to Residency at NYU Langone

    Complete the three-year MD program with a directed pathway into a residency at NYU Langone in a chosen specialty. Students may apply when they apply to medical school or later during medical school.

    Four-Year MD/Master’s or MD/Research Year Programs

    Students who want additional training may choose a fourth year to pursue dedicated research or a master’s degree in fields such as public health, public administration, bioethics, clinical investigation, biomedical informatics, or business administration.

Students learn at world-class NYU Langone sites, including Tisch Hospital and Kimmel Pavilion, as well as affiliated institutions such as NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue and the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System.
