BIOGRAPHICAL DETAILS:

Graduate Education: Hebrew University of Jerusalem (2000-2005)
Postdoctoral Training: University of Illinois at Urbana (2005-2010)
Academic Appointments: 2010-: Assistant professor in Biochemistry

RESEARCH INTERESTS:
Dr. Rothenberg’s laboratory focuses on new optical methods to study biological molecules and processes at real time and nanometer scale. The Rothenberg research team studies the mechanisms of enzymes and proteins that participate in repair of DNA damage leading to cancer, and develops new imaging methods that will enable to visualize the behavior of individual biological molecules.
