RESEARCH INTERESTS:
We are using computational approaches to systematically associate human proteins with molecular annotations of their functions by building a data structure in which these can be annotated as a network of classical biochemical reactions. In collaboration with groups at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and the European Bioinformatics Institute, we have designed a data model to capture these data and a public web site (www.reactome.org) to make them, and tools for browsing and analyzing the data publicly available. Click here for a video describing the group's work.
