The Regenerative Medicine Program at NYU Langone is committed to educating the next generation of scientists and doctors whose goal is to revolutionize healthcare using novel methods of tissue regeneration.

Our faculty members teach PhD and MD/PhD students through training programs at NYU Langone’s Vilcek Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences. These interdisciplinary doctoral programs span 14 specialty areas, including biochemistry and molecular biophysics and stem cell biology.

Our graduate students conduct exciting research in fully equipped labs and build a foundation of biomedical knowledge that positions them to succeed as scientists and academics. Because of the close connection with our clinical researchers and the highly translational nature of our projects, trainees gain invaluable experience at the intersection of basic science and clinical application.
