Create a Fundraising Page in Honor or Memory of a Child

NYU Langone Health has a comprehensive online platform where you can make a fundraising page in honor or memory of someone and have 100 percent of the proceeds benefit the SUDCRRC. To do so, follow these steps:

  • Register at NYU Langone Giving and choose “Sign up as an Individual.”
  • Set your fundraising goal and enter any honoree details.
  • Select "Join as a New Participant"
  • Next, answer all questions. You will be asked: “Select the fund you would like to support.” You must select “Other” to directly support the SUDCRRC. Then, customize and launch your fundraising page.
  • Consider including the link to the SUDC Registry and Research Collaborative website so your donors can learn more about how their donation will be used.
  • Finally, to ensure funds are 100 percent directed to the SUDCRRC, please email Laura.Gould@NYULangone.org to update your fund support from “Other” to “SUDCRRC.”

Hold an Event

Refer a Family

If you know of a family who has experienced the unexpected or unexplained death of a child, and they might be interested in helping our research, please contact us at SUDCRRC@NYULangone.org or 646-754-2230, and share this website with them.

Become a Medical Examiner or Coroner Partner

The SUDCRRC partners with medical examiner and coroner offices, as well as individual board-certified forensic pathologists. These partnerships provide efficient communication for referrals, materials, and research participation and propel research forward.
