New York City Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders

The Child Study Center at Hassenfeld Children’s Hospital at NYU Langone is the designated Regional Center for Autism Spectrum Disorders (RCASD) for the five boroughs of New York City. The Regional Centers are a partnership of university-affiliated programs across New York State with an overarching goal of identifying, disseminating, and assisting in the implementation of evidence-based practices to build capacity to improve services and outcomes for children and youth with autism spectrum disorders.

We also offer individuals, families, and professionals in the community the opportunity to be a part of our Advisory Council, which meets yearly to discuss the ways in which the RCASD can continually improve upon meeting the needs of children and youth with autism in the community.

The NYC RCASD provides evidence-based training and support to families and professionals.
