Center for Child and Family Resilience

The Center for Child and Family Resilience forms a core part of the NYU Langone’s Sala Institute for Child and Family Centered Care and is closely affiliated with the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry and the Center for Stress, Trauma, and Resilience. Directed by Dr. Ron-Li Liaw, the Center for Child and Family Resilience focuses on the stress of medical illness and injury in children and builds model programs to support the resilience of children and families in the face of such stress and trauma and to prevent the development of traumatic stress responses.
