NYULMC DataCore

DataCore is a resource within Research IT that integrates expertise and resources from multiple departments, divisions and centers at NYULMC. With extensive experience in both industry and academia, the DataCore staff provides enterprise level support in the areas of electronic data capture and storage; management and integrity; extraction and sharing. DataCore’s primary focus is to provide the NYULMC research community with access to best practices, expertise, processes, and software compliant with regulatory requirements, as well as with actual data (subject to appropriate IRB and regulatory controls) from NYULMC’s clinical systems. Comprehensive services, from electronic Case Report Forms and database design to data management and analysis, are provided to research studies ranging from small single site to large multisite randomized clinical trials.

NYC Health + Hospitals Data Requests

New York City Health + Hospitals is the largest public health care system in the nation serving more than 1.4 million patients annually. Our health care system provides essential care to all New Yorkers, regardless of their ability to pay. Our over-arching goal is to promote health and wellness and to empower New Yorkers to live the healthiest life possible. The NYU-NYC Health + Hospitals Clinical and Translational Science Institute helps to build capacity for NYC Health + Hospitals researchers through CTSI resources and helps to support research collaborations between NYU and NYC Health + Hospitals. Staff of the NYC Health + Hospitals CTSI can assist with navigation of the research process at NYU Health + Hospitals, as well as assist with the development and acquisition of data sets, data analysis and data interpretation.
