The Nathan S. Kline Institute for Psychiatric Research (NKI) is a facility of the New York State Office of Mental Health that has earned a national and international reputation for its pioneering contributions in psychiatric research, especially in the areas of Alzheimer's disease, neuroimaging, psychopharmacological treatments for schizophrenia and major mood disorders, and in the application of computer technology to mental health services.

Representing the geographic and community diversity of NYC’s racial and ethnic minority communities, Community Partners are committed to developing health disparities and minority health research and have extensive experience in community service, organizing, advocacy, and policy translation relevant to health promotion and disease prevention in urban, underserved populations.
