Biochemistry & Molecular Pharmacology Works in Progress

Starting in the second year of training, students in the Molecular Pharmacology and Cellular and Molecular Biology PhD Training Programs must present their doctoral research once a year in the Works in Progress lecture series hosted by the Molecular Pharmacology PhD Training Program.

These lectures take place on Tuesdays from 1:00PM to 2:00PM in NYU Langone’s Skirball Institute of Biomolecular Medicine’s second floor conference room and occasionally in the Medical Science Building room 390. All students must attend, as Works in Progress is a pass/fail one-credit course. An attendance rate of 80 percent is required to receive a passing grade.

If you are presenting, please be ready to begin promptly at 1:00PM and plan to speak for 45 minutes, leaving 15 minutes for discussion. Your talk should be accessible to a general scientific audience.

If you would like to use the department’s Mac laptop, please email Claudia Deheza, senior project coordinator, at claudia.deheza@nyulangone.org.
