Medical Ethics Postdoctoral Fellowship
The Division of Medical Ethics at NYU Langone is recruiting for a postdoctoral fellow. As a fellow, you work with the Working Group on Compassionate Use and Preapproval Access in the division and have significant protected time to pursue your own research. You also gain teaching experience through co-teaching one graduate-level class per calendar year, mentoring NYU Grossman School of Medicine students on research and projects and assisting in teaching undergraduate medical students and house staff.
The position can begin as early as September 2019. It lasts for one year with the possibility of renewal for a second. Fellows receive an annual stipend of $55,000 to $60,000 as well as health insurance and other benefits.
How to Apply
To apply, you should have a PhD, JD, or MD, and a record of quality scholarship, including a strong scholarly career track in research ethics and in one of the following areas: transplantation ethics, vaccine ethics and policy, end-of-life care issues, or genetics.
