The HELPix Intervention

The HELPix intervention was designed to directly address the communication needs of parents with low literacy and/or limited English proficiency. The intervention, which includes the use of plain language, pictogram-based medication instruction sheets, was developed though Bellevue’s Health Education and Literacy for Parents (HELP) Project.
