Preliminary Training
The Preliminary Program at NYU offers a fantastic opportunity to learn Internal Medicine in preparation for careers in Dermatology, Neurology, Radiology, Ophthalmology, Anesthesiology and more.

Call Schedule
- Inpatient ward rotations: Night float system with teams alternating long call throughout the call cycle
- Intensive care units: Q3 overnight call for residents, with shorter shifts and coverage for interns.
