Resident Life

Midtown Manhattan: The Place to Be in NYC!

New York City and the area surrounding NYU Langone offer many social and cultural activities. NYU Neurology Residents have enough time during their training careers to take advantage of such resources as Central Park, MOMA, Union Square Greenmarket and the East Village.

Residents participate in popular events early on in their residency such as class dinners, mentoring happy hours and trips to museums. The East River Ferry leaves from a dock adjacent to the NYU Langone campus and offers easy access to the cultural and housing opportunities in Brooklyn and Queens. Other popular ways of getting around town include CitiBike and the NYC Subway, which runs a few blocks to the west of campus.
