Residents have one half-day continuity clinic for the three years they are in the program. They are held at Family Health Centers at NYU Langone Brooklyn. Each resident is assigned their own examining room. There is one Neurology attending supervising each clinic with a ratio of 1:3. Each clinic has a mixture of junior and senior residents. Nursing and clerical staff assist the resident staff in providing courteous and expeditious care.

Residents also rotate through the faculty practice during their subspecialty clinics rotation or during their electives. This allows our residents a broad exposure to the practice of neurological subspecialties including:

  • behavioral and cognitive neurology
  • botox clinic
  • deep brain stimulation
  • dysautonomia center
  • EMG
  • epilepsy and EEG
  • headache
  • movement disorders
  • multidisciplinary/interventional pain medicine
  • multiple sclerosis
  • neurofibromatosis
  • neuromuscular/muscular dystrophy
  • neuro-oncology
  • neuro-ophthalmology
  • neuro-otology
  • neuro-rehabilitation
  • pediatric neurology
  • sleep medicine
  • vascular neurology

Subspecialty Clinic rotations take place at the Brooklyn and the Manhattan campuses.
