Clinical Services

Inpatient Services

The Pediatric Infectious Diseases consult team sees patients at NYU/Hassenfeld Children's Hospital, Hospital for Joint Diseases, and Bellevue Hospital Center. We see both immunocompromised and immunocompetent children, ranging in age from newborns to young adults. Our group has particular strengths in congenital and perinatal infections, HIV and other chronic viral diseases, and antimicrobial resistance.

Upper/Lower NYC Consortium for Families
The Upper/Lower NYC Consortium for Families mission is to improve the health and well being of HIV/AIDS-infected women, children, youth and their families. We use a family-centered model of care to help HIV-positive patients receive services and support as early as possible, working constantly to develop and implement new processes with the goal of improving outcomes. Our research interests include mental health and development, organization of care, and the impact of services on outcomes.
