Join us on Tuesday, October 18, 2016 in Farkas Auditorium for our Second Annual Health Disparities Symposium, co-sponsored by the NYU-Health + Hospitals Clinical and Translational Science Institute, the NYU Department of Population Health, and the NYU School of Medicine Office of Diversity Affairs.

The Symposium program will include a series of short, engaging talks on current health disparities research & programs; additionally, the program will feature a panel discussion on controversies in population health and a poster session & awards ceremony. Full agenda coming soon!

The objectives of the Health Disparities Symposium are to:

  • Increase awareness of the broad range of health disparities research taking place across NYU and NYC Health + Hospitals
  • Facilitate connections, build networks, and foster interdisciplinary collaborations for health disparities research among faculty, staff, students, clinicians, and community partners
  • Provide a forum through which students can learn of opportunities for research involvement
