Biomedical Entrepreneurship Program
The Biomedical Entrepreneurship Program helps accelerate the commercialization of biomedical discoveries and inventions made at NYU. Developed by Technology Ventures and Partnerships in collaboration with the NYU Entrepreneurial Institute, our program brings in world-class educators and entrepreneurs to train faculty, postdocs, graduate students, and clinicians to become successful entrepreneurs.
Through hands-on courses, participants study multiple facets of venture creation and gain experience in the entrepreneurial process using real-world projects that are ripe for commercialization.
The program is supported by a National Institutes of Health (NIH)–National Institute of Diabetes and Digestive and Kidney Diseases (NIDDK) R25 Education Program Grant. It is open to any member of the NYU community who is working on biomedical technologies, and students enrolled in an NYU Stern School of Business MBA program may also register and are accepted if space is available.
Entrepreneurs at NYU may receive additional support from our Biomedical Entrepreneur-in-Residence Program, which provides access to mentors with extensive experience in bringing biomedical innovation to life.
If you have questions about our program, including how to enroll, email Michal Gilon-Yanai, MBA, associate director, NYU Technology Ventures and Partnerships, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
