Working with the Office of Therapeutics Alliances

The Office of Therapeutics Alliances works with individual investigators and research programs to evaluate the potential for drug discovery, determine appropriate next steps and possible clinical paths, and carry out key activities necessary to advance the project to a stage suitable for licensing to an existing biopharma company or a new startup. OTA offers investigators financial and technical support via two programs. Very early stage projects may benefit from activities funded by the Translational Science Incubator, while more advanced projects may be eligible for the Virtual Accelerator. Regardless of the program, OTA works closely with faculty to ensure that the appropriate activities are carried out for each project.

OTA encourages faculty members to contact us to discuss a potential project.
