Resources for Postdoctoral Fellows
NYU Grossman School of Medicine postdoctoral fellows belong to a diverse community of researchers, comprising not only postdocs but also students and faculty across NYU Grossman School of Medicine and other NYU schools and colleges.
Postdocs may use their Kerberos ID to log into the online postdoc community, where they can find the postdoctoral training program handbook and information on upcoming events, opportunities for professional development, chances to network with peers and mentors, and how to secure grants and other sources of funding.
As a postdoc, you are eligible for many benefits, including health insurance; vacation and sick time; assistance in securing housing; and for international students, help in filling out the necessary paperwork to ensure that your visa remains valid.
You can also take advantage of a number of perks, such as discounted theater tickets and car rentals and a free membership to the National Postdoctoral Association. We encourage networking with your peers, and there are many activities and clubs available to you.
