Access Our Services Using iLab and LIMS
NYU School of Medicine’s Division of Advanced Research Technologies provides internal and external researchers with centralized, user-friendly platforms for accessing the services provided by our scientific cores and shared resources. Instrument reservation requests and the ordering and scheduling of other core services, as well as billing, are processed online through either the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS) or the iLab platform.
Beginning in May 2017, our core laboratories are transitioning from LIMS to the iLab platform in phases. Please contact the core laboratory you are interested in for the most up-to-date information about their transition timeline, or consult our iLab transition schedule.
Any core laboratory customer with a current LIMS account will be automatically pre-registered for an iLab account. New core customers must complete a one-time account registration in order to access iLab.
If you have questions regarding the transition from LIMS to iLab, please contact project managers Sam Isa or Uchit Ghandi. Updates on the transition are also posted on our intranet (Kerberos ID and password required for login).

LIMS Supported Web Browsers
LIMS can be accessed through Microsoft Internet Explorer 10 and 11, Chrome 37 or higher, and Safari 6 (Mac OS only).
A warning message may appear on your login page if your browser is not supported. If you are using Internet Explorer 11, please make sure the browser is not set in compatibility mode.
