Drosophila RNAi Screening Libraries

All of the Drosophila RNA interference (RNAi) libraries at NYU Langone’s High Throughput Biology Laboratory were obtained from or generated as part of our collaboration with Harvard Medical School’s Drosophila RNAi Screening Center (DRSC).

Bathing and transfection assay plates contain double-stranded RNA (dsRNA) amounts of 0.4 μg per well and 0.1 μg per well, respectively, in a total volume of 5 μL. Users can also request dilute polymerase chain reaction (PCR) products. Additional information about the whole genome libraries and sublibraries is available through the DRSC.

Library coverage About 13,900 genes, with an average of 1 to 2 dsRNAs per gene
