Review of the procedural sedation policy and procedures and successful completion of the on-line course
Current BLS certification
Applies to the use of the following drugs:
- Midazolam Pentobarbital*
- Fentanyl Chloral Hydrate*
- Morphine * for moderate sedation in children
Note: Deep sedation may be produced with any of the above agents at sufficient doses.
