Assistant Curator, Medical Library
My research is primarily focused on improving the users experience utilizing library resources and open access. In my role, I collaborate closely with the Collection Development team to evaluate and procure new resources that meet the evolving needs of the NYU community. I am also responsible for troubleshooting access issues and liaising with vendors to resolve any technical challenges, ensuring that library users have uninterrupted access to essential information.
My colleagues and I play a pivotal role in managing and ensuring seamless access to a wide array of electronic resources. With a focus on enhancing research and learning, I enjoy overseeing the acquisition, licensing, and maintenance of digital content, including databases, e-journals, and e-books.
I am a member of the Medical Library Association and serve on the Be Well Committee which focuses on promoting wellness within the library science field and the greater community. I also review for a variety of journals such as the Journal of New Librarianship, & Library Journal. I am on the editorial board of the Journal of Electronic Resources.
