Research Professor, Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
I am a pediatric and perinatal epidemiologist in the Department of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry. My research experience is diverse and encompasses mental health, neurodevelopment, reproductive health, pregnancy, environmental health, infectious diseases, and health disparities. I particularly enjoying working on projects that combine these substantive areas, such as examining how environmental factors impact mental health or reproductive health. I draw on my methodological and analytic skills to advance research, quality improvement, and programmatic planning in collaboration with trainees, researchers, and clinicians. Currently, I lead the NYU Langone Health pediatric enrolling site for the RECOVER Initiative. RECOVER is a national, multisite, NIH-funded study to learn about the long-term effects of COVID.
