My academic interests focus on community health and partnerships with grassroots community organizers outside of the emergency department. I have taken part to address food insecurity during the pandemic partnering with The Table food pantry of Sunset Park and organized year long projects supporting new migrants and coordinating arrival from the NYC Humanitarian Emergency Response and Relief Centers.
