Assistant Curator, Medical Library
I am head of NYU Health Sciences Library’s Data Services and Research Impact team and liaison to the Departments of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Innovation (DGIMCI) and Radiology. I teach Rigor and Reproducibility and R Programming in the Grossman School of Medicine Vilcek Institute of Graduate Biomedical Sciences, secondary data analysis and research skills with residents in the DGIMCI Primary Care track, and various data-related classes to members of NYU Langone Health, including introductions to working with generative AI and how to use REDCap, a data collection tool. My research focuses on rigor and reproducibility as it relates to research training and education, secondary data analysis education, and library provision of data related training. I also work with generative AI, both as a subject of workplace training and an area of research as it relates to library services.
I assist on Systematic Reviews and have contributed as a collaborator and methods expert in several domains. I am interested in how generative AI may be applied to expedite the process.
