Assistant Professor, Department of Medicine
As an infectious disease specialist at NYU Langone Health and at NYC Health + Hospitals, my research focuses on advancing population informatics initiatives to improve health outcomes for all patients. My current projects involve integrating external data sources, developing custom patient registries—such as those for HIV, PrEP, and hepatitis C—and leveraging analytics to address social determinants of health (SDOH). The primary goal of my work is to effectively harness health information technology to support population health, enabling more precise, data-informed approaches to patient care and improving health equity across diverse populations.
