Giselle Routhier

Giselle Routhier, PhD

Research Assistant Professor, Department of Population Health

Summary

My research focuses broadly on housing insecurity and homelessness as social determinants of health. I have specific interests in operationalizing these concepts, understanding the links between different manifestations of housing insecurity and health outcomes, and influencing policies that promote collaboration and coordination across the health and housing sectors. My academic training has drawn on interdisciplinary foundations spanning social work, public policy, sociology, and public health. I currently co-direct the Health x Housing Lab, situated in the Department of Population Health.
