Research Assistant Professor, Department of Population Health
I am a research assistant professor in the Department of Population Health where I direct the Brooklyn Data Station, a resource for finding, accessing, analyzing, and communicating clinical and population-based data, with a focus on neighborhoods in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Long Island. My main interest is to analyze data from multiple sources and to communicate data findings that support and inform public health programs and policy, with a focus on topics related to maternal health and social determinants of health. I use my training in geography and epidemiology to collaborate with a wide range of researchers, clinicians and community partners on diverse topics with the goal of advancing research, quality improvement and program planning.
