Assistant Curator, Medical Library
As the Education and Research Librarian at the NYU Health Sciences Library, I work closely with both the education and research missions at the NYU Grossman School of Medicine. In my role as the Content Director for Evidence-Based Medicine (EBM) in the Foundational Clinical Skills course, I develop EBM curricula for preclinical students, which encompasses the creation of multiple modalities of learning experiences, such as asynchronous, large, and small group sessions. An integral part of this work consists of designing and implementing formative and summative assessments for EBM.
In addition, I provide EBM feedback in Objective Structured Clinical Examination (OSCE) activities for students preparing to enter Residency and offer expert searching support for research, including scoping and systematic reviews. Other research interests include the application of different teaching pedagogies and the use of Artificial Intelligence in EBM assessments.
