Assistant Professor, Ronald O. Perelman Department of Emergency Medicine
My scholarly contributions advocate for improved learning environments embedded across health services. I study curricular innovations across health professions training, focusing on healthcare delivery systems, organizational learning, and decentralized approaches to improve physician learning, patient outcomes, and community health. My research incorporates systems-level theories as a conceptual framework coupled with multi-level analytics to examine the impact of structural factors from policy decision-making. I have extensive experience with extramural funded research, having successful ascertained and managed NIH, HRSA, and foundational funding to research institutes, community health centers, and educational programs.
