Our laboratory investigates the roles of chromatin-modifying complexes, including the Polycomb Group (PcG), the Trithorax Group (TrxG), and DNA methylation machinery, in regulating gene activation and silencing. We focus on the mechanisms by which these complexes maintain the balance of gene expression and ensure the inheritance of chromatin state during replication. Additionally, we are committed to understanding how disruptions in these regulatory pathways lead to abnormal development and cancer.
