Assistant Curator, Medical Library
As the Graduate Medical Education Librarian at NYU Health Sciences Library, I engage learners by providing curriculum-integrated instruction and online educational resources tailored to GME programs. My role involves building strategic partnerships, developing innovative programming, and integrating emerging technologies into medical education. I also offer specialized research support in areas like literature searching, systematic reviews and other forms of evidence synthesis, critical appraisal, and citation management. Collaborating with the Library’s Education and Clinical Support team, I help deliver instruction and maintain asynchronous learning tools such as LibGuides, ensuring residents and fellows across NYU Langone Health have continuous access to up-to-date information and best practices.
In addition, I am passionate about exploring librarian involvement in evidence-based medicine instruction to enhance the educational experience and improve outcomes. Other research interests include leveraging new technologies, including generative AI, in adult education, promoting health information literacy, and ensuring successful transitions for medical students entering residency.
