Summary

My primary research interests are in quality improvement and healthcare innovation. In my role as Director of Care Transitions in the Office of Ambulatory Care at NYC Health + Hospitals, I have worked on several projects related to care delivery optimization and operational improvement in New York City's public healthcare system. In particular, I am deeply invested in improving care transitions from inpatient to outpatient settings. I have also worked on projects related to improving chronic disease management (e.g., inpatient diabetes management, colorectal cancer screening, hypertension control in unhoused populations). Additionally, I have previously written about the potential impact of artificial intelligence and remote patient monitoring programs on patient care.
