Research Assistant Professor, Department of Rehabilitation Medicine
My research is primarily focused on developing and evaluating interventions for help-seeking behaviors using principles of implementation science and cognitive rehabilitation. The broad aim of my work is to improve quality of life and community reintegration for individuals with acquired brain injury who live with invisible disabilities.
My subspecialties include wayfinding and ecologically valid assessments. I developed, piloted, and experimentally evaluated a group intervention protocol designed to train help-seeking in the context of wayfinding for persons with brain injury.
I am continuously learning from patients who have inspired me with my research.
