Master's Degree in Ergonomics and Biomechanics - Admission Requirement

The admissions process is designed to review the overall potential of applicants in order to determine which students will succeed in their studies.

An admission decision includes the following criteria:

  • The equivalent of an undergraduate degree in biology, physics, engineering, or health-related sciences with a total mean grade of B (3.0) or higher.
  • The GRE general test
  • The TOEFL test for applicants who are not native English speakers.
  • A CV with clear information regarding professional or academic experience
  • A statement of purpose
  • Three letters of recommendation, and
  • A personal interview, if requested by the Admissions Committee

All students are required to have, as prerequisites, basic (undergraduate) musculoskeletal anatomy and physiology, physics, and calculus. These admission criteria are in addition to the general Graduate School of Arts and Science and specific Environmental Health Science requirements. Applications are accepted on an open basis for Fall Semester admission only.
