Queer Mentor Advising Program
The Queer Mentor Advising Program (QMAP) aims to create a supportive space, build community, and foster mentorship for LGBTQ+ students and the larger LGBTQ+ community, and is open to all students concerned about LGBTQ+ issues at NYU Grossman School of Medicine and NYU Langone Health.
To get involved in QMAP, or if you have any questions, please contact Sarah Khalil, program manager for recruitment and retention, at Sarah.Khalil@NYULangone.org.
Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality
In addition to making connections at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, it is important for LGBTQ+ medical students and students interested in LGBTQ+ issues to get connected with LGBTQ+ healthcare professionals across the nation. Previously known as the Gay and Lesbian Medical Association, GLMA: Health Professionals Advancing LGBTQ+ Equality is the world’s largest and oldest association of LGBTQ+ healthcare professionals, including physicians, residents, and medical students.
