Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics
Research in Biochemistry and Molecular Biophysics focuses on the molecular mechanisms of a wide array of biological phenomena, including cellular transport, cell signaling, nucleic acids, and protein folding and design, through the use of biophysical and biochemical tools. Students benefit from a strong history of collaboration between participating laboratories, providing an opportunity to combine approaches from different disciplines to investigate essential biological processes.
