Applications for NYU Langone’s Collaborative Center in Children’s Environmental Health Research and Translation Pilot Project Program are currently closed for the 2022–23 grant cycle. Applications for the 2023–24 grant cycle will open in fall of 2023.

Application Process

The application process includes two stages.

Stage I: Applicants submit a letter of intent (LOI) that is approximately 500 words.

Stage II: If invited to do so, the applicant will then submit a detailed proposal that expands upon the LOI plus other required proposal materials.

LOI Application Instructions and Formatting

The LOI should be approximately 500 words, single-spaced, Arial 11-point font, 1-inch margins, and be in a PDF format. Your LOI must include a brief project background and rationale that addresses the following sections:

  • specific aims and hypothesis
  • research strategy
  • impact of proposed research
