Pilot Project Program Application
NYU Langone’s Center for the Investigation of Environmental Hazards (NYU CIEH) is currently accepting applications for our Pilot Project Program for the 2023–24 grant cycle.
Application Process
The application process includes two stages.
Stage I: Applicant submit a letter of intent (LOI) that is approximately 500 words.
Stage II: If invited to do so, the applicant will then submit a detailed proposal that expands upon the LOI plus other required proposal materials.
LOI Application Instructions and Formatting
The LOI should be approximately 500 words, single spaced, Arial 11-point font, 1-inch margins, and be in a PDF format. Your LOI must include the following sections:
- brief project background and rationale
- specific aims and hypothesis
- research strategy
- impact of proposed research
Applications for the 2023–24 cycle are now closed. Applications for the 2024–25 cycle will open summer 2024.
