Division of General Internal Medicine & Clinical Innovations Hospitalist Program
Hospitalists at NYU Langone’s Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Innovation provide superior clinical care; educate medical students, residents, and healthcare professionals; and pioneer groundbreaking research.
We work together as one faculty to share best practices and deliver high-quality care across our campuses at NYU Langone’s Tisch Hospital and Kimmel Pavilion, NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn, NYC Health + Hospitals/Bellevue, and the VA NY Harbor Healthcare System.
As experts in the field of hospital medicine, we lead teams of physician assistants and nurse practitioners to consistently deliver outstanding, evidence-based, compassionate care to patients and their families. We provide general inpatient medical care and co-manage surgical patients with comorbidities.
We also serve on a variety of committees and participate in quality improvement projects that contribute to ongoing NYU Langone initiatives aimed at leveraging technology and electronic medical records to optimize patient care.
Many of us are active members in the Society of Hospital Medicine and Society of General Internal Medicine. We hold national leadership positions in the field of hospital medicine and regularly contribute to leading hospital medicine journals.
The Division of General Internal Medicine and Clinical Innovation offers many opportunities for hospitalists to participate in continuous learning, including a full training program in point-of-care ultrasound, an annual hospitalist retreat, leadership scholarships, and other faculty mentoring and professional development programs.
