Catalyzing Innovation in Learning Health Systems through Research Symposium

Join us for our free inaugural symposium, during which we aim to ignite meaningful discussions on accelerating the adoption and sustainability of learning health systems. Advancing this progress will unlock effective innovations to improve clinical care across a wide range of disease areas. This event is designed to:

  • showcase innovative approaches to transforming healthcare, with a focus on improvement in clinical encounters
  • reimagine the ways in which robust evidence is rapidly generated and supported by learning health systems
  • bring leaders in the innovation center/learning health systems space together with hospital leadership, community partners, state and local agencies, and potential funders, to envision and champion collaborative work regionally and nationally.

The symposium will bring together people from dozens of local, regional and national organizations.

2025 Symposium

Our inaugural 2025 program, to be held on Tuesday, April 29, 2025, in New York City, will feature a keynote innovation showcase, panels, lightning talks, a poster session, and workshops. The program is designed for in-person attendance, but the morning sessions will be available online for those who are unable to travel.

Attendees will leave this symposium:

  • equipped with strategies and frameworks to create new pathways and opportunities for rapidly improving healthcare outcomes within their institutions
  • having had the opportunity to meaningfully network with colleagues from the regional community, national leaders in care improvement, and potential funders in order to support wider engagement and future multi-institutional collaboration
  • with a deeper understanding of how to effectively fund innovation implementation research, including through foundations, healthcare institutions, and other non-traditional sources.
