Summary

My lab's research is focused on intersection of machine learning and artificial intelligence, and medicine. Using millions of records in Electronic Health Records database on NYU Langone, as well as hundreds of thousands of imaging and millions of Genomics data, we focus on a number of important topics including but not limited to: Prediction of upcoming preventable conditions/events using machine learning and data science, Discovery of disease subtypes using radiology and pathology imaging and electronic records, Discovery of existing but undiagnosed medical conditions using electronic health records, Discovering biomarkers and factors that associate with important outcomes, etc. My lab mainly focuses on conditions for which we have tens to hundreds of thousands of cases in the NYU Langone databases. 

I am an assistant professor (of research) in Center for Healthcare Innovation and Delivery Science (CHIDS), and a member of Predictive Analytics Unit.
