Department of Radiology

The Department of Radiology at NYU Langone Health combines excellence in clinical imaging, radiology research, and educational programs to train the next generation of biomedical imaging specialists. Our radiologists have access to the most advanced technologies at world-class facilities and provide comprehensive diagnostic and interventional imaging services to patients at our many locations in New York City and on Long Island.
We use advanced protocols to obtain the highest-quality images for analysis and interpretation, as well as to continuously strive for better imaging quality and more innovative imaging techniques.
As part of our commitment to providing the safest procedures possible, we proudly follow Image Wisely® and Image Gently® guidelines from the American College of Radiology, Radiological Society of North America, American Society of Radiologic Technologists, and American Association of Physicists in Medicine, and regularly share information with national registries to demonstrate our accountability to safe practices.
At NYU Langone, we understand that biomedical imaging is a highly specialized science that requires experience and focus on individual patients. That is why our radiologists are fellowship-trained, American Board of Radiology–certified physicians with expertise in acquiring and interpreting images for specific parts of the body, as well as for specific conditions.
