Located in Murray Hill, the NYU Langone Health is bordered by Midtown to the north and Kips Bay and Gramercy to the south.  Just a short walk away is New York’s historic Greenwich Village and the Upper East Side.

Living in New York City offers endless options for art, music, cultural activities, bars and nightlife, and a chance to sample cuisines from around the world.  Even with a busy resident’s schedule, there is always something exciting to do - no matter what time of day or night.

Housing Assistance

The Housing Services Office recognizes the challenges involved in the search for affordable housing in and around New York City and strives to be a housing resource for faculty, students, and staff at the medical center.

The housing portfolio of NYU Langone Health provides a range of housing options for its faculty, students, and eligible staff. Those eligible to apply for medical center housing include medical students, MD/PhD students, Sackler graduate students, house staff, nurses, faculty, and post-doctoral fellows. If you live in Medical Center housing and would like to make a repair request for a unit in one of our owned buildings, you can complete one of the Service Request Forms available in the lobby. If you live in one of our leased apartments, you can reach out directly to your respective superintendent or building management office. Rent accounts, payroll deduction, security deposit refunds, etc. are handled by a Finance and Administration staff. If you have questions about these matters, write to or call (212) 263-2460.
