Lerner Director of Health Promotion
As the Lerner Director of Health Promotion, Dr. Albert provides visionary leadership for the integration of whole-person health practices at NYU Langone Health, championing a holistic approach to patient care. This endowed position, established by Helaine and the late Sid Lerner, underscores the institution's commitment to innovative healthcare. In addition to this role, Dr. Albert serves as the chief nursing officer and senior vice president for patient care. Her extensive educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and Master of Science in Nursing from the University of Akron, as well as a master's degree in business administration from Cleveland State University. Dr. Albert participated in the Wharton Fellows Program in Management for Nurse Executives. She holds a doctorate of nursing practice from Rush University and is a board-certified nurse executive.
