Colton Center Core Clinical Database & Biorepository

Resources from the Colton Center support a robust infrastructure based in the clinical centers. In order to pursue the center’s translational research effort, strong clinical databases and bio repositories have been established to collect and store specimens and prospectively follow patients with autoimmune diseases longitudinally.

Led by Dr. Jill Buyon and Dr. Jose Scher, investigators of the Colton Center now follow more than 1,000 patients with rheumatoid arthritis, psoriatic arthritis, ankylosing spondylitis, systemic lupus erythematosus, antiphospholipid syndrome, and Behcet’s syndrome within the NYU Langone and Bellevue Hospital patient population.
